New Series: Expressions

My art teacher, Dan Thornhill, is always encouraging me to do paintings in a series. I started with the girl and decided to do a series in this different style of "Expressions". I'm really excited as I brainstorm for the next pieces!

Painting Paradise

I recently returned from the beach, and can't stop wishing to be back. I started to do a portrait on this canvas, but my mind took over and I painted abstractly from my memory of the beach.

If there is one thing I love it is food! I can't let myself paint it too much or I get carried away, but here are a couple of loose food paintings I did.
